Dr. Alicia Martinez, DN

Dr. Alicia Martinez, DN, is a Licensed Doctor of Naprapathic Medicine in the state of New Mexico with more than 15 years of experience in myofascial manual therapy, physical medicine, and corrective exercise. Throughout her career, she has worked with patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, as well as individuals with a wide range of physical abilities and activity levels.

Dr. Martinez earned her Doctor of Naprapathic Medicine degree from Southwest University of Naprapathic Medicine. She also holds a Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Carrington College and completed her Massage Therapy training at Crystal Mountain School of Massage Therapy. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Anti-Inflammatory Nutrition at Southwest University of Naprapathic Medicine, with coursework focused on the relationship between nutrition, inflammation, and overall health.

Her professional background includes experience working with career professionals, professional athletes, stay-at-home parents, and individuals managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Her clinical interests include manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, corrective exercise, movement education, and the integration of nutrition principles into musculoskeletal care.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Martinez is also a board member of Anthem Creative Design LLC, a New Mexico nonprofit organization dedicated to mentorship and providing sports scholarship opportunities for at-risk youth.

A lifelong New Mexico resident, Dr. Martinez is committed to continuing education and professional development. Her diverse educational background and clinical experience reflect her interest in combining manual medicine, rehabilitation, movement, and nutrition within an evidence-informed approach to patient care.
